Gimhae Stadium (South Korea)

The Gimhae Stadium is located in the South Korean city of Gimhae and offers space for around 30,000 spectators. It was originally opened in 2001 and is used for both soccer matches and athletics events. The stadium has become particularly well known for hosting international sporting events, including the 2004 World Junior Athletics Championships.

Focus Modular systems from Fohhn were chosen to provide sound reinforcement for the entire stadium area with speech and music. Thanks to the integrated Fohhn Beam Steering Technology, the sound is directed towards the audience without the systems having to be mechanically tilted. The installation is complemented by several passive high-performance point sources from the Perform series (PT-70).
