Sha Tin Racecourse, Hong Kong

The Sha Tin racecourse has a capacity of 85,000, including two grandstands. 29 Fohhn Linea LX-100 loudspeaker systems, supplied in a special colour, have been installed to provide coverage in some of the specator areas. Specifically designed to offer the highest levels of speech intelligibility, the loudspeakers are ideal for a range of applications including transmitting commentaries or announcements at meetings and other events. Nowhere in the world is horseracing as popular as in Hong Kong. The sport is as established here as football in Europe, or baseball in the USA. On race days, tens of thousands of people can be found at the stadium. Sha Tin is the larger of Hong Kong’s two racecourses, located in the Sha Tin area of the “New Territories”. Built in 1978, the racecourse is managed by the Hong Kong Jockey Club. Its 20 stables can accommodate around 1260 horses.

We congratulate our distributor Shoushan System Integration Ltd. on this successful project.
