Since its opening in 1872, the Ronacher Vienna has been one of the city's most renowned musical theaters. With its central location in the heart of Vienna, historic architecture, and modern technical equipment, it offers an exceptional setting for high-quality stage productions and unforgettable live experiences.
The Ronacher is currently presenting the new in-house production “Maria Theresia – Das Musical” by Vereinigte Bühnen Wien.
The musical is characterized by the music of Dieter Falk, whose compositions powerfully drive the plot forward. Sound designer Carsten Kümmel is responsible for the acoustic implementation, creating a powerful, clear, and spatial sound image at the Ronacher. The sound reinforcement is based on a powerful setup of 6 × PT-70 and 3 × PS-850 in a flown system – ideal for ensuring that the music and emotional moments of the musical can be experienced precisely from every seat.
The Ronacher Vienna thus combines history, state-of-the-art theater technology, and musical excellence into a unique overall package that makes “Maria Theresa – The Musical” a special cultural highlight of the city.
