Cinema Iluzjon, Warsaw

Dating from the 1950s, the Polish National Film Archive's Iluzjon Cinema was reopened in November 2012 following renovation. Rather than being a cinema in the conventional sense, Iluzjon also functions as a museum of film and features projections accompanied by live music, typically seen in the very early days of movie culture. For this reason, it has been particularly important to install loudspeaker systems that can guarantee high-quality, dynamic transmission of live music.

The main cinema area has been equipped with Fohhn LX-601 systems in combination with XS-4 subwoofers, while in the orchestra pit, four Arc-Series AT-08 have been installed on account of their suitability for nearfield use. Six XM-4 wedges are used for stage monitoring, with two XT-33 speakers as side fills. The systems are powered by two D-2.1500 and two D-4.1200 DSP amplifiers. In a smaller cinema space two Arc-Series AT-09 loudspeakers have been installed, among other systems.

Congratulations to our Polish distributor Dysten on this successful project.
