Who we are

Since 1993, Fohhn has been developing and manufacturing loudspeaker systems for professional applications – Made in Nürtingen, Germany. Our audio systems deliver clear sound and outstanding speech intelligibility worldwide: in conference rooms, parliaments, cathedrals, museums, theatres, stadiums and airports. Since 2020, all areas of the company have been united at our new headquarters – from R&D, marketing and sales to project support, purchasing and quality assurance, production and logistics. This keeps the entire process, from product idea to shipment of the finished system, in our hands. The result: innovative, sustainable audio systems combining the highest quality standards with exceptional durability and reliability.

At Fohhn, you get all the components of a professional audio system from a single source: more than 100 loudspeaker models, amplifiers, accessories and software for simulation, control and calibration. The result is a complete, integrated system in which everything works seamlessly together. But our system approach goes beyond hardware and software: our project support team assists you from planning to commissioning. With Fohhn Customizing, the Fohhn Academy and our service and repair team, we are there for you throughout the entire lifecycle of the system.

We have been developing and manufacturing sound systems with Fohhn Beam Steering Technology since 2009. This enables precise control of sound dispersion by software without the need for mechanical tilting or curving. It provides flexibility and results in crystal-clear sound and best speech intelligibility without interfering reflections. Offering the largest beam steering system on the market, we continue to set the benchmark as the technology leader.

We also regularly welcome visitors from all over the world to our headquarters in Nürtingen – to meet our team, exchange ideas and experience our audio systems first-hand in the Fohhn SoundLab. We are 140 passionate audio professionals – engineers, technicians, designers, and above all, sound enthusiasts. Audio nerds at heart. Detail-obsessed, curious, and united by a passion for great sound. Many of us are musicians or audio engineers ourselves, playing in bands or producing music in our spare time. Our annual Christmas music video is perhaps the best example of how this shared passion brings us together. This passion shapes the way we work – with expertise, creativity, and attention to detail.
