Our digital sound processors are integrated in all Fohhn amplifiers, active speakers and the FC-8/FC-9 digital controller. The algorithms used and the precision of the programming define DSP technology. Fohhn development engineers have invested a great deal of time attempting to produce the perfect sound.

DSP-1:

Integrated Digital Audio Devices. 5 professional audio devices offer valuable benefits on an every day working level: 10-band parametric EQ, delay, compressor/limiter, noise gate and crossover allow the user to adapt the audio system perfectly to sound requirements, room acoustics or personal preferences. Cable faults, cumber some rack cabinets and tangled cablesare a thing of the past. The integrated technology reduces the weight and dimensions of the unit and guarantees stress-free operation. In addition, the operating status display gives you complete control in monitoring the temperature and operating time.

DSP-2:

Speaker Management System. Specifications for all types of Fohhn speakers are stored in a speaker database. An algorithm especially developped by Fohhn® guarantees a balanced sound and maximum operation reliability at all volume levels.

Easy to operate.
A control panel with a blue, four-line LCD display is integrated in Fohhn active systems, amplifiers and controllers so that users can adjust and view the DSP functions on the respective audio device.

The FC-8 must have access to the amplifier data (amplification, maximum output voltage) in order to provide maximum protection for your speakers. The FC-8 gives you the option of storing the data of up to 100 amplifiers and then retrieving this data again when required. The FC-8 can automatically calculate the corresponding performance data for any amplifier. The measured values appear on the display, can be edited if necessary and then stored under a separate name.
You can then load the stored data to all 6 output channels. Needless to say, you can assign a separate amplifier to each output channel.
When an amplifier preset is loaded, the performance data is calculated with reference to the speaker data and the multiband limiter on the FC-8 is set automatically.

The switch contacts can either be connected as “active open” or “active closed”. 19”/1HE designer housing. Automatic calibration function for all connected amplifiers (computer-aided setup) guarantees maximum protection for both amplifiers and speakers. Remote operation and monitoring via laptop and Fohhn Audio Soft, 8-button wall panel FR-10 or 19” control devices available. Network-compatible in Fohhn-Net.
