West Kowloon Station, Hong Kong

Hong Kong’s only train station that is connected to the Chinese high-speed train network was opened in September 2018, and ever since, it has connected the Kowloon peninsula with the mainland. In the train station concourse and in the walkway to the underground platforms, Linea Focus LFI-220 line source speakers have been implemented to ensure that passengers can clearly understand every announcement.

Three line source speakers have been installed on several of the pillars distributed throughout the space, providing sound in every direction. Thanks to Fohhn Beam Steering Technology, the sound is directed exactly where it’s needed, therefore reducing disruptive reflections. As such, the concourse enjoys extremely high speech clarity.
