Tones Teatro Natura (Italy)

The grand opening of Tones Teatro Natura by CM Orchestra took place on the 15^th of July 2022 in Oira, Italy. The theatre project by Tones on the Stones was born in 2020, in full lockdown, when the idea of building a theatre in the nature seemed an extremely sophisticated challenge: to transform the former industrial site of Cava Roncino into a permanent open-air venue surrounded by the stunning view of the former quarry.

On the stage, an impressive 56-piece ensemble with an orchestra directed by Andrea Pollione, rhythm of two drums and percussion, solo voices and choir to interpret a repertoire from Beethoven to Bruno Mars, from the Beatles to Queen, and even 70s dancing.

The artistic and technical director, Claudio Mazzucchelli chose Fohhn Focus Venue as sound system for this extremely special occasion in such a breathtaking stone landscape – a beauty enhanced by 3D images, projections and lights. “The Sound was really impressive, room filling and natural” Mr. Mazzucchelli stated after the show. “There was perfect clarity and space for both the classical orchestra and the choir. At the same time, enormous pressure and dynamics for the rock band and rhythm section.”
