Following Roland’s launch of its new Shop-in-Shop concept at this year’s Frankfurt Musikmesse – reinforced by Fohhn loudspeaker systems – the concept has now been put into practice at the Just Music flagship store in Berlin. Customers can browse a new 100 sq metre “Music Mecca” featuring a range of Roland, Boss and Cakewalk products.

The new concept aims to provide an exciting brand experience that inspires musical activity. In the “Soundbox”, a soundproofed multimedia linked cabin, customers can individually explore Roland V-Drums. The cabin has been equipped with Fohhn Linea LX-11 near-field loudspeakers and an XS-10 active subwoofer. The ultra-compact two-way LX-11 has been specially designed for demanding near-field situations such as this. Developed in exactly the same way as a larger loudspeaker, the LX-11 offers clear, even sound coverage, flat frequency response and excellent reproduction of both speech and music.

More Roland Shop-in-Shop Soundbox installations are in the planning stages and will be rolled out in Germany and Austria over the coming months.
