German Reunification Anniversary, Mainz (Germany)

Central celebrations, held in Mainz, for the 2017 Day of German Unity were heavily influenced by Fohhn Beam Steering systems: Starting with the church service in Mainz Cathedral, where Linea Focus line source systems provided sound reinforcement for the country’s leading politicians and other guests.

This was followed in the evening by a large show on the banks of the Rhine, technically produced by POOLgroup GmbH in their capacity as general contractors for the state chancellery in Mainz. On this occasion, the POOLgroup technical team successfully deployed a number of Focus Venue and Focus Modular arrays. The new Focus Venue systems were able to deliver perfect sound several hundred metres away, thanks to their full-range efficiency, without additional subwoofers. They also proved an ideal partner for the slim Focus Modular systems.
