Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Germany)

Floor trading has not been conducted in the historic trading hall of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since 2011. In 2019 and 2020, the historical building in downtown Frankfurt was extensively renovated and converted into a large visitor and conference centre.

Companies still use the trading floor, which in Germany is mainly known as the backdrop for stock market news on television, to celebrate their stock market launch. During the renovation work, a DLI system was installed in the hall for those so-called bell-ringing events.

Two DLI-230 line sources with Fohhn Beam Steering technology serve as the main PA and two DLI-130 as the delay line. The company, BFE, also installed two AS-10 subwoofers.

Fohhn Beam Steering technology prevents interference from acoustic reflections on surfaces such as the gallery balustrade, thereby ensuring excellent speech intelligibility. Nevertheless, the narrower line sources can be mounted flat on the wall so that they are somewhat hidden between the display boards.

We would like to thank hmpartner for their planning efforts and BFE for making this project a reality!
