The Filderhalle relies on Fohhn Beam Steering Technology
The Filderhalle Convention Centre, located close to Stuttgart airport, hosts around 450 cultural, social and commercial events per year. The state-of-the-art technical infrastructure of the centre now also includes a new sound reinforcement system.
Recently Fohhn Focus Modular Beam Steering systems were installed and calibrated by Fohhn engineers. In the Large Hall a combination of Fohhn FM-400 and FM-100 speakers were mounted on either side of the stage for FOH sound reinforcement purposes. In front of the stage there is a bass array comprising eight Fohhn XS-30 subwoofers while four Fohhn AT-09 speakers take care of near field sound reinforcement. On the gallery there are four more AT-09s serving as delay speakers.
The Large Hall has a capacity up to 1,000 people. Apart from the flexibility of the venue, the Filderhalle can now also boast ecological consciousness: the environmental and sustainable management of the hall by its operators was recently certified by the European Association of Event Centres (EVVC) and the organization Green Globe.
Thanks to the state-of-the-art technical facilities and the Fohhn Beam Steering Technology there are no limits to the variety of events taking place in the Filderhalle: in addition to corporate and so-called hybrid events the Filderhalle also facilitates conventions, conferences and lectures as well as musicals, theatre productions and concerts.
We thank and congratulate Alber Audio for this successful project!
