Bremen Town Hall (Germany)

After the “Musicians of Bremen”, the city’s inhabitants appreciate good sound! Bremen Town Hall proves an acoustically challenging project, with our engineers working flat out from start to finish. The result; superb sound quality – and praise from the people of Bremen!

The city hall of Bremen, UNESCO World heritage since 2004, is Europe's only late medieval town hall which has never been destroyed. The German Commission for UNESCO valued the authenticity of this building, which is constantly reconditioned and maintained. Numerous town halls were destroyed during World War II, but the city hall of Bremen remained in its original condition.

To assure premium speech intelligibility and outstanding sound in this historical building, Expert Siemer, Bremen installed four AL-100 in the big hall and two AL-150 in the smaller, but, due to its reverberation time, acoustically more demanding hall. In addition, there are two AL-100 on design stands freestand III and a subwoofer AS-20 for mobile application. These systems satisfy all requirements on design and functionality. With their integral line array technology, they are perfectly suitable for such complex fixed installations in acoustical and optical demanding architecture.

We congratulate Expert Siemer, Bremen on this successful installation!
