Yunnan Normal University is equipped with Fohhn loudspeaker systems.

Twelve PT-8 WaveLine compact line arrays, four PS-2 subwoofers and four XM-4 monitor wedges constitute the new sound system that has been installed in the main hall of Yunnan University’s ChengGong Campus. Two D-2.1500 and four A-2.2100 amplifiers are used to power the loudspeaker systems and an FC-8 system controller has been added for remote operation. The hall, which is on two levels, accommodates up to 600 people and is used for musical performances, lectures and a range of other events.

Founded in 1938, Yunnan University (YNNU), formerly the “Teachers’ College” of the Southwest Associate University, is now the most well know university in the “Spring City” of Kunming, capital of China’s Yunnan Province. The University has over 2000 teaching and academic support staff, including 205 professors and 535 assistant professors. Around 16,000 students have the opportunity to study in 23 different schools and 34 research institutes. YNNU offers a doctoral programme in Agricultural Industry, as well as 75 Master and 54 Bachelor degree programmes, all of which are open to international students. The university has also established research affiliation and exchange programmes with 59 other international universities.
